Keep a disc golf scorecard everyone can follow
A good scorecard lets the group focus on the next throw. Set up the course and players before you tee off, record each hole as you go, and check the scores together at the finish.
Start a roundWhat goes on the scorecard?
Record how many throws each player took to finish each hole. Par is the reference number of throws for that hole. The score against par is your throws minus par, so lower is better.
| Throws on a par 3 | Score against par |
|---|---|
| 2 throws | −1 (under par) |
| 3 throws | Even par |
| 4 throws | +1 (over par) |
If your group uses penalties or extra score details, agree on them before the round. The player entering a hole score can also record out-of-bounds throws and putting details in the score editor.

Pick the course and layout
Find a nearby course or search by name. Select the layout that matches the tees and holes you will play. If it is missing, make your own layout and use it for this round.
Add everyone to the round
Check each player’s name and the hole count in the setup screen. Take a moment to confirm the order so scores land on the right row.
Enter throws after each hole
Open the active hole, tap a player’s score, and enter their throw count. Continue through the holes; you can return to correct a score before finishing.
Review together, then finish
Check that every player has the intended scores. The scorecard totals the round and shows each player’s result against par. Finish only when the group agrees the card is complete.
A few useful habits
Check a score right away
It is easier to fix a missed throw at the basket than several holes later. Ask the group before changing someone else’s row.
Keep playing if a course is missing
You can use a custom layout for this round. You need the hole pars to begin; GPS coordinates and distances are optional.
