Make a disc golf layout and play it today

A course can have more than one way to play. You may use different tees, skip a hole, or run a short practice loop. In DiscGolfer, a layout is the hole list for one version of a course. Set its pars and start scoring with friends right away.

Start a round

Choose your starting point

The course is in the catalog

Search for it in the course picker and open its layouts. Choose Use this layout for this round to play now. Signed-in players can also submit it for review if they want to share it with the catalog.

The course is missing

Choose Create custom course in the picker. Give the course a name, then build its first layout and score your round.

Set up the holes

  1. Open the course picker

Tap Start a round, then Pick a course. Search by course or city, or choose Create custom course if you cannot find it.

  2. Name the layout

Use a name that distinguishes the tees or route, such as “Short tees” or “Front nine”.

  3. Check each hole

Add or remove holes to match your round. Set the par for each hole and add its length in metres if you know it. You can leave distance blank.

  4. Use it now

A guest can use the custom layout for this round. A signed-in player can send a layout proposal for review and still use those holes immediately; approval is only needed before it becomes public catalog data.

Good to know

GPS is optional for scoring. A layout needs holes and pars; tee and basket coordinates can be added later.

Public layouts are reviewed. A proposed layout stays available to you while it awaits approval. Other players see it in the public course listing after review.

Already have a layout? Open a published course page to inspect its hole table before playing. The course map shows published courses with usable coordinates.
